Our Story

Inspired by their young daughter’s eagerness to learn, husband-and-wife team Percival “Sir Ike” Nepomuceno-Olandesca and Ramonette “Teacher Ram” Legaspi-Olandesca founded Little Me Academy in 2006.

According to Sir Ike, they and their early colleagues were “equipped with passion, persistence, and purpose and backed up by a great God.” Starting with only 14 pupils whose ages ranged from 2-5 years old, the Olandescas found that starting up a school was not easy financially, but they understood that the fulfilment of guiding young minds to a life of achievement was more than payment enough.

Believing that communication is the first step to lifelong learning, and that leadership is the ultimate goal of education, the Olandescas guarantee their fellow parents that Little Me is where children learn to “read, speak, and lead.”

Little Me has gotten bigger since then (and still continues to do so) with over 400 young learners now enrolled at the preschool, elementary, and high school levels. “Yet the same limited class size is maintained to keep the personal touch going,” says Sir Ike. In addition to academics, Little Me also rounds out their students’ personal development by offering various extra-curricular activities such as sports, public speaking, creative arts, entrepreneurship, and much more.
